Go well my young brother Edgar

Aaron Sakamba Kitwe Zambia

EDGAR was a very humble and easy going person. I remember some vivid incidents when we were growing up. playing ifimpombwa at Ishuko Primary School in Chimwemwe Township, Kitwe.

He would be for one reason or another told that this time around he would not take part, he would humble himself and not argue about it, which would lead to him being on the side lines for the duration of the game.

In later years, what could be seen in him was his nature of not hitting back even under extreme provocation.

He became the most insulted President in the history of our country, but no one was ever locked up. The other trademark is his brevity.

While other leaders had shunned putting pen to paper when persuaded regarding the constitution, which was amended, he did so without any qualms after giving the lawmakers enough time to think it over.

These are the same lawmakers whose reading culture is bad, who came to blame him for signing into law what came to affect some of them. Aaron Sakamba Kitwe, Zambia
