GOAT GONE WRONG! Redcliff Romeo busted visiting his ‘girlfriend’

A 40-YEAR-OLD man was caught pants down “reuniting” with a she-goat he once worked alongside!

Villagers in Semchengwe, Redcliff are still struggling to digest the bizarre episode.

According to the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ), Stephen Musongwe, a former employee of the goat’s owner, sneaked back into the kraal on 14 August 2025 around 9AM, reportedly to “satisfy his desires” with the animal.

Villagers insinuated that Musongwe may have had a running affair with the goat during his time of employment, and that he returned for what one neighbour called “a last visit to his four-legged lover.”

However, his romantic reunion came to a screeching halt when his former boss walked in on the shocking act. Startled, Musongwe bolted from the scene, trousers in hand, but the owner had already recognised him and wasted no time reporting the matter.

“The offender went to the pen and had sexual intercourse with the goat. He was caught in the act by the owner and he fled the scene. The owner had already identified him leading to his arrest,” read the official statement from the NPAZ.

Musongwe appeared before the Kwekwe Magistrates’ Court where he was convicted of bestiality, a crime that left villagers both horrified and amused. He was sentenced to six months in prison, with half the term suspended for good behaviour. The remaining three months were converted to 105 hours of community service.

The NPAZ blasted the act, saying such cases were “worryingly on the rise”, urging citizens to protect animals from perverts.

“Cases of bestiality have been on the increase lately and it is the duty of the law to protect our animals from individuals with weird sexual desires,” the statement read.
