GOSPEL musician, Olivia Charamba, says she is short of words to describe her joy after receiving a car from businessman Sir Wicknell Chivayo.

Chivayo also gifted cars to Baba Machanic Manyeruke and Leonard Karikoga Zhakata.

Mai Charamba was accompanied by her family, including her husband Charles, to collect the car at Faramatsi Motors.

Chivayo said that he chose to give the vehicles to the musicians because they had inspired him and his mother “during the toughest times of our lives”.

Chivayo also shared personal details about his life in the post, including the death of his mother, Canisia Chivayo, on January 6, 2021.

He also revealed that she had lived in Gandami, Chivhu, and that he was born in Unit J, Chitungwiza.

Speaking at Faramatsi Motors, while receiving her brand new car, Mai Charamba, said:

“I am short of words and I am very grateful, this is really a blessing to me like I sang ‘Ndiri Munana’.

“I thank God for showing His love and care for me through using Sir Wicknell.

“I never thought a day like this would ever come where I’ll just be gifted a car that I didn’t work for or paid a single dollar for, this is really a blessing.

“May the Lord continue to bless Sir Wicknell and his family.”

She also thanked her husband.

“I would also like to thank my husband, for he has been my pillar and also has been the one who has helped in writing most of the stories that you guys get to listen to.

“I also want to thank Mhuri ye Zimbabwe for appreciating me and my music.”

Baba Charamba said:

“We are so happy as the family accepts this gift, words are not enough to thank you but just know that we are very grateful.

“This was a long time coming and I would really want to congratulate my wife.”
