adminit they then release it to its intended audience. Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets (Amos 3:7).
From this scripture one could even see that before anything touches the earth, the prophets of Elohim are the first ones to hear it from God. There is nothing that can happen in this life without the knowledge and involvement of the prophets of God. Before Jesus was born, the news was already received by the prophets of the old like Isaiah, Micah, Hosea, Jeremiah, Zechariah, David, Moses and the list is endless. Before anything becomes newsworthy on earth, the prophets are the first recipients of such current affairs. There is absolutely nothing under the sun that can happen without the prophets knowing.
A prophet chooses what he wants to tell people and what not to. Whatever he deems fit, that is what he tells people. Even the things that we consider to be irrelevant or of no use like the football results, the prophets are shown such things by God well before the match is played. That means if the soccer results are known before the match is played all it means is that all the other results and answers of life are known by the prophets before their publication, whether one is going to pass the test or not, get the job or not, among other riddles.
The presence of God is confirmed by the availability of the prophetic and the prophets. In as much as we have our servants at work, at farms and wherever, God does also have His servants whom He entrusts with the information concerning the affairs of His garden, the earth.
In the book of John 1:47 Jesus prophesied the address of Nathanael. He said “before that Philip called thee, when thou was under the fig tree, I saw thee”. The fig tree was Nathanael’s address. How can a prophet see a person without seeing where he or she stays? What makes a person complete is the address and the identity particulars.
Many contemporary Christians and the world today have problems with the prophetic, especially if the prophet chooses to prophesy a person’s address, identity particulars or phone numbers. If the prophetic chooses to come in mentioning people’s identity particulars, it is so just to make one conscious of God’s presence and to make the person appreciate that God knows him or her.
God does not consult His creation on how, what to prophesy and what not to. I was going to love criticism of the prophetic if it was going to come from the prophets. A carpenter must not teach biology basing on assumptions and what he thinks, that is poisonous. Allow the prophets to do the prophetic while the farmers take care of the ground this rainy season.
Evangelists go on to evangelise and let the teachers teach in their colleges, and let the prophets prophesy!
God respects the human office so much so that He doesn’t bump into anyone without Him sending His word with the prophets. God spoke to Noah and warned the people before the destruction by the floods came upon mankind. Moses was being spoken to by God so that he could carry the children of Israel into the promised land. John was given the mandate of heralding the coming of the Messiah to the people and the list is endless. Before anything happens to a nation, a community, a church, God makes sure that a prophet is informed.
The fact that you didn’t hear your prophecy doesn’t mean that you were not prophesied unto, it’s an indication that you were not where the prophet was and you intentionally chose to close your ears by your unavailability. Panorairwa mwana wamambo, iwe muranda teerera.
Be around the prophet and hang around the prophetic.
In United Family International Church, there is nothing that the Lord does without telling His servant Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa. We are not taken by surprise in anything, we are informed with the current news on a daily basis. Suppose God turned a church secretary and a teacher into becoming a prophet, how would he prophesy? Will he switch onto the other side and start to attack the teaching ministry? I pray, he must not.
In as much as the teaching ministry is good, so is the pastoral, the evangelical and the prophetic. Let it be known by them that live under the sun that God does not do anything without having informed his servants the prophets.
May we continue joining our hands in prayer with Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa, praying for the continual peace and prosperity of our country.
