ZIMBABWEAN top amateur golfers, David Amm and Kieran Vincent, will renew their rivalry at a different stage.

Their United States colleges will battle in the Mid-American Conference Championships at Fort Wayne, Indiana, tomorrow.

Amm is with Toledo University while Vincent is at Liberty University.

Toledo finished a distant 14th place, and Liberty were fourth, at Ohio State’s Golf Club, on Sunday.

The tournament was played at the par-71, 7,455-yard Scarlet Course.

Amm finished the tournament tied on position 73rd, on 273 points.

Liberty battled cooler, and rainy conditions, on the opening day.

Playing in their second tournament, in less than a week, Liberty fired a 13-over par 581 (291-290) following two circuits around Ohio State — Scarlet Course (par 71, 7,455 yards). Fresh off their ever ASUN Championship title on Tuesday, the Flames were looking forward to improve on their standings, at the Ohio State-hosted event.

Kent State’s Cade Breitenstine led all individuals at four-under par 138.

Illinois captured the tournament title by posting a seven-over par 859, five strokes ahead of second-place Penn State.
