THIRTY-SIX less privileged families in Marange recently received a boost after Spirit Embassy, through its charity arm –  Uebert Angel Foundation – handed over some foodstuffs.

The foundation, which has been assisting communities across the country, handed over some foodstuffs at Bazeley Bridge in Mutare District which include cooking oil, peanut butter, soap, sugar and maize-meal, among other things to each of the families.

The Uebert Angel Foundation, which is led by Prophet Uebert and Bebe Angel, adopted the 36 families and has been giving them some foodstuffs periodically since 2021.

Handing over the foodstuffs to the families, Spirit Embassy Mutare’ senior pastor, Pastor Darly Angel said: “Most of the families have been struggling to get adequate meals, but thanks to our leader, Prophet Uebert Angel who is not just talking, but walking the talk in terms of helping the needy in communities, they have something to smile about. This is an ongoing initiative and we intend to adopt more families in the near future.”

One of the beneficiaries, Ms Tracey Mwandiambira said: “We are grateful for the gesture. The foodstuffs come at a time when we have been struggling to put food on the table.”
