Goromonzi producer yearns for recognition

GOROMONZI music producer, Samson “Samla4real” Samson, is itching for recognition after producing songs for various Zim dancehall artists over the years.

Samla4real said he wants to take music from Goromonzi to another level.

“I am very happy with how my music producing career is moving and many local people are supporting me.

“I am not giving up and I am helping many local artists by recording them for free as they can’t afford the recording fee.

“Currently, there are riddims which I am producing, including Summer Liquor, Kumaraini, Ne level, Evidence, Munenyaya, Ex Cash,” he said.

He has also produced for Dobba Don.

“So far, I have recorded artists who include Jerryman, Cantolman, Dobba Don, AtterSimex, Duncan Roll, Tiger B, Champion Spartacus.

“There is also work in progress where we are building up the studio and signing more artists, especially the youths,” said Samla4real.

The producer, who is a Muslim, was educated at Chinyika High School and Goromonzi High School.

He opened his studio in 2015.

Currently, he is recording artists on the Evidence riddim.
