Gorowa praises Mutuma

believes the Premiership debutante can break into Europe one day.
Gorowa believes the striker is blessed with a special quality that is needed in a forward to make the grade in Europe.
Others have said Mutuma reminds them of Nigerian striker Nwankwo Kanu.
“I watched the match between Dynamos and Black Mambas and, of all the players, I was so impressed by Mutuma and I have no doubt that this boy can make the grade anywhere in the world,” said Gorowa.
“He is a special striker, he can use both feet and his movement off the ball is impressive. He is also good on the ball, he controls well and he takes on defenders.
He scored two brilliant goals and I saw very good technique and that’s all you need in a striker.
“Of course, he has to work on his physique and he needs more time in the gym so that he can get a bit stronger and I think he should eat a lot of junk food and work out.”
Gorowa observed that the lanky striker was certainly not a firm favourite of the Dynamos fans.
Mutuma has struggled to win the hearts of Vietnam, the stand which houses hardcore DeMbare fans.
“I was so disappointed by the Dynamos supporters and I could tell they don’t like that boy but they have to understand him,” said Gorowa.
“He is the best striker they have in my opinion and he needs time and I’m sure Lloyd (Mutasa) will agree with me.
“I know Lloyd can see the same qualities that I saw and you will tell me one day that the boy has gone places.
I think he is even better than Nyasha (Mushekwi) because I don’t think Nyasha was like that three years ago.
“Of course, Nyasha has got the experience right now and can score a lot of goals but that boy has got greater potential to be far much better.
“Dynamos have a diamond and his coaches should put him on a serious physical training programme and once he gets big and fit, he can be very very dangerous.”
The Sundowns boss also praised Black Mambas and Under-23 international midfielder Abbas Amidu.
