ZIMBABWE Goshawks team manager Sifiso Made says the rugby development side must have the right attitude ahead of their clash against Zambia in the Africa Cup at Lusaka Showgrounds.
He said the players needed to improve in their next assignment following the defeat to Nigeria in their opening match.
“For the boys to win they need to start playing with the right mindset. This is a national team and not a schoolboy rugby team,” said Made.
Zimbabwe lost 23-34 to Nigeria.
The winning team will be promoted to the Africa Cup B1 next year.
Zambian coach Mwamba Mulenga said they have been struggling to get promoted for a long time and this was a good opportunity for the country.
The Zambian team got their campaign underway with a 38-22 win over Nigeria.
“We are very happy to host the competition and I hope the boys will do well. They must not relax because Zimbabwe got defeated by Nigeria,” said Mulenga. “We had good preparations and the boys are ready to take on Zimbabwe and playing at home is a boost for the team.”
