Delay in pensions disbursements

The Ministry of Finance has postponed this month’s pay date for pensioners by a week. This was announced yesterday in a statement by Civil Service Commission Secretary Mrs Pretty Sanguro, in which she said the commission regretted any inconveniences caused by the shift in the pay date.

“The Civil Service Commission wishes to advise that the Ministry of Finance (Treasury) has moved the June 2015 pay date for pensioners from 30th of June to 7th July 2015,” Mrs Sanguro said.

“Any inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted,” she said.
