ZVISHAVANE-BASED gospel artist, Pardon “ Pardy” Handson,  has won the heart of South Africa businessman Denzel Anderson, through his music.

Pardy’s newly-released album, titled New Generation, won him a sponsorship package to assist the artist in his musical adventure.

The seven-track album carries songs like Zvandinochema, New Generation, Simba raMwari, Mutoro Wangu, featuring Obert Chari, Tokuzivai ne Rudo, featuring Admire Nago and Tamirira imi Mwari.

Speaking to H-Metro, Pardy said:

“I am happy the album has been received well.

“I want to thank Mr Anderson for his generosity and may the Dear Lord bless him.

“The new release is my fourth album since 2019 and I’m positive there is going to be a big breakthrough from this one.”

Anderson, of Anderson Promotions, said:

“I listened to the young man’s album and I felt the artist needed to be rewarded for the work he has done.

“Artists have so many expenses when making music and the sponsorship package is meant to cushion him.

“It might not be all he needs but I’m sure it will go a long way in assisting him in his musical career.

“I wish him all the best and, hopefully, someday he is going to be one of the gospel stars. “

Pardy has three albums namely Tsiurikai, Havana Mufaro and Yaive Hondo.
