THE Chibuku Super Cup gets underway on Saturday, with Mandava hosting a double header.
Whawha take on Cranborne Bullets and ZPC Kariba battle Bulawayo City in preliminary round matches.
Whawha coach, Luke Petros, wants his men to win this game to get over the disappointment of losing to CAPS United last weekend.
“Every competition that we participate in is taken seriously by the whole group and this is no exception.
“The boys have been talking about this encounter since the draw was conducted.
“We also want to use this game to get over the disappointment of losing at home to CAPS United last weekend.
“Of late, we have been having some good results, so we want to try and carry that momentum into this competition.
“A good run in this competition will help boost our confidence as we fight against relegation in the final phase of the league,” he said.
The preliminary round winner between Whawha and Cranborne Bullets will face Dynamos in the first-round of the competition.
