Gospel artistes Itai Sandras and South Africa-based singer Alpha Nhambure have set up a recording studio called Ado Studios and Events.
The studio, which is located at corner of Sam Nujoma Street and South Avenue – is set to change the fortunes of upcoming artistes who were facing recording challenges, especially with established studios.
According to Sandras of the “Tinosimudza Maoko” fame, the studio was set up to assist upcoming artistes.
“The new studio is going to accommodate talented artistes who do not have money to record,” he said.
Sandras said the recording studio will provide flexible contracts to artistes.
“The contracts will be made to suit individuals artistes,” he said.
Some of the artistes who are using the studio for rehearsals include Mathias Mhere and Trymore Bande among many others.
The studio also offers video filming.
Sandras started his music career in 2011 with a debut album titled “Mwari Pindirai” followed by “Pazuva Guru” in 2014. It was the track “Tinosimudza Maoko” taken off “Mwari Pindirai”, which put Sandras on the limelight. The song featured Takesure Zama of the Worship Addict.
“Pazuva Guru”, which is being marketed by Ado Studio and Events has tracks such as “Chimwe neChimwe”, “Mudziyo Yenyu” and “Korona” among others.
The seven-track album was produced by veteran producer Blessing Masanga at Revival Studios.
