Gospel songstress Agatha Murudzwa-Ndembera has been hospitalised due to hypertension. The gospel diva revealed that she had been admitted into one of the hospitals in Harare but is since recuperating from the ailment.
“I had been diagnosed with high blood pressure and have been in hospital for a few days but have since recovered from it and I am getting better,” said Agartha.

Agatha who is now married to Methodist Church pastor Gwinyai Ndemera, refused to shed more light on her sickness and family life and blamed the media for meddling in her private affairs.

“There is nothing so special about my affairs. I was just sick but you guys find it amusing to be always poking into my private affairs.

“Last time there were stories of me in the papers about my previous relationships and how does that help anyone,” fumed the gospel singer.

Murudzwa-Ndemera revealed she is working on a new album.

“You should actually be helping me spread the gospel as I am continuing to do that through music and I am now working on a new album to be released soon.”

Hypertension is a condition usually associated with high stress levels although medical experts also relate it to other issues such as genetics and alcohol abuse amongst others.
