UK-BASED gospel artist, Matildah Tekeshe, is set to launch her fifth album titled ‘‘Seasons/Mwaka’’ on May 27.
The album was produced and recorded at Eternity Productions by producer, Macdonald Macdee Chidavaenzi.
It carries nine tracks — Mbiri Nerumbidzo, Nyasha Dzedenga, New Season, Handimbotya, Handikusiyei, Calvary, Makatendeka, Totogara Mushoko ,Worship Medley, plus a bonus instrumental.
“My new album ‘Seasons/Mwaka’ Album is inspired by the word of God, the Holy Spirit and my own life experiences and those of my friends and family and world at large.
“The key scripture for the project is Ecclesiastes 3:1, which reads ‘To everything there is a Season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.’
“We’re excited to be celebrating and launching this album live on the 27th of May at The Bedford Corn Exchange, United Kingdom, from 5:30pm – 11pm,”’ she said.
She said her band, The Rivers Of Joy Music, will be supported by Queen Patience, Nyariee Channel, Yeukai Washe, Voices Of Triumph (VOT), Nyasha Mutongwizo, Lionel Nkosi and Eric Knight.
“Everything is on course, the Night Rider (Eric Knight) and Ivy Maguraushe will be our hosts for the day.
“Tickets are available on Eventbrite and Matildah Tekeshe platforms,” she said.
