DJ Anusa preaches power of collaborations

CELEBRATED music producer, Anusa “DJ Anusa” Dulana, believes in the power of collaborations.

He feels he has learnt various styles from working with several acts.

The highly-rated wheel-spinner has made a name for himself as one of the country’s most sought-after producers and feels he still has more to offer to the industry.

“I am currently signed under Nigeria-based recording label Irosha Entertainment.

“It takes a collaborative approach to the creative process to come up with great projects.

“I have worked closely with several artists to create tracks that reflect their individual styles and vision,” he said.

Known for his versatility, DJ Anusa has produced tracks across a range of genres, including hip hop, Afrobeat, and gospel.

“I have collaborated with many notable musicians and artists in Zimbabwe, such as Jah Prayzah, Juntal, Michael Mahendere, Trevor Dongo, Shinso Man, Amos Mahendere, Julian King, Suluman Chimbetu and Maskiri.

“I am currently working on Tinkybarbie 51’s EP, which is highly-anticipated by fans.”

Some of Dj Anusa’s most successful tracks include “Gochi Gochi” by Jah Prayzah and “Mai Boi” by Juntal, which became instant hits upon their release.

DJ Anusa’s signature sound or style is characterised by his ability to infuse different genres and styles to create a unique sound that appeals to a broader audience. With his impressive track record and dedication to his craft, DJ Anusa is poised to make even greater strides in the future.
