SIX-member gospel outfit, Voice of Praise (VOP) last week released its second album titled, Najesu Ndinopisa, an album pregnanted with soulful tracks.
Apart from the title track, the album is made up of the tracks, Chivi Chakashata, Rumbidzo, Kutenda Nemabasa, Baba Ndakatadza, Sununguro yaJehovha, Kana Jesu and Kana Jehovha.
In an interview, VOP spokesperson, Knowledge Makaudze, affectionately known as MK, said the group’s journey in music was inspired by God’s grace and love.
“This album is our way of praising God for seeing us through trials and tribulations since we released our first album a few years ago. The song Rumbidzo best describes our journey to stardom. We have learnt to believe in God as a group. We believe our faith in him will see us soaring high. At the moment, we are relying on well wishers for a Public Address system and that is a challenge drawing us back, particularly when we attempt to host live shows,” he said.
The talented outfit stormed into the music scene a few years ago called Mafaro.
