GOSPEL artiste of the moment, Mathius Mhere, makes a comeback to Bulawayo today when he performs at the Amphitheatre.
The show starts at mid-day and ends at 5pm. Halfway across the city, there will be a winter   cake   and   food   tasting   fair organised   by   Grace   Ndebele   of    Bulawayo    Brides. The fair will be at BellaRosa Gardens in Riverside.
The Expo will also include a bridal fashion show at 12.30pm and prospective brides will have an opportunity to choose wedding gowns and taste a variety of cakes to help them pick the best option for their wedding day.

This is not the first time that the event is being held in the city.
Meanwhile, Mhere whose Anoita Minana hit album has the song Favour, will share the stage with promising gospel artiste Takesure Ncube at the Apostolic Faith in Mission Conference held under the theme “Revival in Our Times (RIOT).”

The concert will be wrapping the six-day conference hosted by the charismatic Evangelist, Pastor Lillian Bwanya famed for her clampdown on small houses and Pastor L Tembo.

Mhere assured Bulawayo gospel lovers of a memorable show.
“I was in Bulawayo a few weeks ago together with the Charambas and the response I got from fans was overwhelming and I am looking forward to this show again,” said Mhere.

The 25-year-old musician whose tracks were often mistaken for another gospel artiste, Blessing Shumba’s, has made waves on the local music scene with his hit debut album.

Mhere is arguably one of the most promising and talented musicians on the local scene.
His backer Ncube popularly known as Minister Zamar, has shared the stage with the likes of Benjamin Dube from South Africa, Keke Phoofolo and Joyous Celebration.

He has released individual projects through Praise Addicts series with his first album released in August 2011 while Praise Addicts Volume 2 was launched in August last year.

His music is a fusion of worship, Afro-Jazz, traditional and contemporary soul.
The R.I.OT Conference began on Tuesday and will be running until tomorrow at the Amphitheatre.

The gospel artistes would be backed by the Praise and Worship singers from AFM North End and Makokoba branches.
Sunday   will   see   a   deliverance    service for   those   with   various   ailments   or afflictions.
