adminthird album, “Shongwe”, said although he has held several shows with different musicians, he hopes the concert with Shingisai will usher in a new dimension.
“For me every concert is a learning process, which affords me an opportunity to learn something new that I will later use to develop my career.
“I have not met her (Shingisai), but I know she has got a wealth of experience she has acquired over the years, which I can tap from to edify my musical project,” he said through his manager, Isaac Zinyongo.
Shingisai will stage a return concert on December 29 at the Harare International Conference Centre, where she will share the stage with Fungisai Zvakavapano- Mashavave, Blessing and Amanda Sagonda. Ironically, it will be her only show this year.
“I believe Zimbabwe’s gospel audience continues to grow, something that we want to take advantage of in growing our brand,” his manager said.
Blessing can safely attest that he has had a good year in the office, especially with the release of his latest album that has taken him on whirlwind tours across the country.
With three albums to his name, the rising musician believes that fame is now on the horizon, although he feels he will need to further polish his act.
