Popular gospel musician Mathias Mhere is set to serenade fans this Easter as he headlines the Festival of Blessings (FOB) Easter Conference in Kwekwe.

Hosted by New Creation Life Ministries International, the event is one of the church’s flagship annual gatherings, scheduled from April 2 to 5 during the Easter holidays.

The conference is expected to draw thousands of worshippers from across Zimbabwe and neighbouring South Africa.

Enjoying renewed popularity through acoustic renditions of his classic hits such as “Favour”, Mhere has promised an electrifying performance.

“I’m glad to be performing in Kwekwe. This is not our first time performing at the church, but it will be our first time ministering in their newly built auditorium. We’re going to have a great time, and I encourage everyone near Kwekwe to come and join us,” Mhere said.

Renowned preacher Elijah Motowashe will feature as the guest speaker at the conference.
Speaking ahead of the event, Apostle Joy expressed excitement about hosting the festival at the new venue for the first time.

“I’m excited that the Festival of Blessings is here. It’s that time of the year when we gather to share testimonies, the Word, and celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every year, we experience God in unprecedented ways, and this time I believe it will be even more special as we host it in our own building,” he said.
