Govt appoints tourism advisory council

The council includes senior Government officials, health experts, traditional leaders, educationists and players in the tourism industry.

The council includes Reverend Mushoriwa, Mr David Chawota, Dr Washington Mbizvo, Dr Obadia Moyo, Mrs Doreen Sibanda, Mr Herbert Nkala, Mr Tendai Madzivanyika, Mr Tamuka Macheka, Dr Chitepo, Bishop Trevor Manhanga, Mr Nya-ruwata, Mr Tizora, Bishop Nehemiah Mutendi, Dr Vimbai Chivaura and Dr Silvia Utete Masango and Dr Gata.

Also in the council are – Sharon Stead, Peter Drummond, Professor Norman Maphosa, Cde Abigail Dam-asane, Professor Magwa, Dr Taka Munyanyiwa, Cde George Rutanhire, Cde Chemhere, Mr Alfred Tome, Major General Sibusiso Moyo, Cde Goodson Nguni, Mr Lovemore Man-dima, Cde Muchengeti, Mr Benjamin Tesa, Mr Blessing Munyenyiwa, Mr Pathisa Nyathi, and Mr Leopold Chakanyuka.

Other members of the council are – Ms Memory Kanyati, Mr Steward Mtizwa, Mrs Blessing Ncube, Antony Mutemi, Child Tourism Minister, Mr Farai Mukuta, Mrs Hazie Sibanda, Cde Mustafa Mudara, Cde Shumba, Mr Stephen Chifunyise and Mr Gwaranda.

The traditional leaders include Chiefs Charumbira, Mvutu, Chundu, Marange, Ndanga, Musarurwa, Math-e, Makuni, Shindi, Ndondo.
