Africa Moyo in GLENEAGLES, Scotland
The Second Republic is determined to make Zimbabwe the investment destination of choice so as to grow the economy, President Mnangagwa has said.
He said this during an investment conference held virtually in Scotland.
The President addressed from Gleneagles while Finance and Economic Development Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube and Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Ambassador Fredrick Shava and the rest of the delegates, followed proceedings from Glasgow.
President Mnangagwa said: “My Government remains desirous to make Zimbabwe a favourable investment destination, where capital feels safe.
“The broad economic reforms rolled out are now beginning to bear fruit. These have resulted in a conducive environment predicated on a private sector-led development approach.”
Mining investor, Mr Roy Pitchford, said investment was safe in Zimbabwe and urged other foreign investors to consider Zimbabwe.
