Grade One sodomised

last week appeared before Gutu resident magistrate Mr Nyasha Vitorini facing charges of aggravated indecent assault.

Mandezha was not asked to plead and was remanded in custody to March 5 this year. Charges against Mandezha are that from February 3 to 7 this year, he allegedly met his victim several times on his way to and from school. Mandezha would allegedly dragged the boy into a bushy area and sodomised him several times.

The State alleges he sodomised the pupil more than five times, giving him sweets. The offence came to light after Mandezha was caught in the act with the boy who had absconded from school.
