She was remanded out of custody for trial.
Prosecutor Ms Sophia Busvumani alleges that on September 24 last year, the aunt invited the boy to her house on the pretext that she wanted him to help package some millet from her granary and sent her two grandchildren away. She allegedly grabbed the teenager and tripped him to the ground.
The State further alleges that the woman undressed the boy and sexually assaulted him once.
She stopped when he screamed. The boy told his sister what had happened who reported to police.
