A CITY woman has unsuccessfully approached the court seeking a peace order against her grandmother.
Tracy Kachikuni accused her grandmother, Agnes Kachikuni, of verbal abuse.
“She comes to my place of residence insulting me in front of my kids and co-tenants.
“She says no one loves her but I have tried to accommodate her; but she is ungrateful.
“In August, she complained to the police claiming I made my husband rape my 10-year-old sister and I was arrested.
“We went to the Family Support Trust and she was examined. Nothing came up and I was released.” Tracy claimed.
Agnes denied ever insulting her.
In her defence, she said
“The younger sister is the one who came up to me when l was walking around saying she hates what her brother-in-law was doing to her.
“I noticed she was discharging strange fluids and I went to report the matter to the police.
“She is the one who calls insulting me without considering the fact that I raised her.
“I have witnesses that can testify that the child is being abused.
“She came to this court to cover up for her husband’s deeds.”
The application was dismissed for lack of merit.
