DINAMO DECRISIS

IT’S quite a complex situation right now at Dynamos.

That’s the message from DeMbare chairman Isaiah Mupfutsa, after the Glamour Boys slipped into a crisis at the weekend.

They have now virtually surrendered the league title to FC Platinum and might even fail to end up in second place.

“We understand that our stakeholders, especially our fans, are not happy with the recent performances and results of the team,” said Mupfurutsa.

“And, they are justified to do so.

“It’s a complex issue and it’s difficult to make a quick decision about it as it involves a group of people with different opinions and views about the team.”

He added:

“When you’re a group of people facing challenges, you’re bound to have different opinions and reactions to things.

“Even on Sunday, in the stadium, you could see that the fans reacted differently.

“Some were in support of the team while some were not happy.

“I’m sure if you were to ask some of the fans they would tell you that the team played very well, despite the outcome of the game, and some would say the team is not playing good football.

“Also, some would say the coach is not doing a good job and some also think that he is a good coach.

“Unfortunately, the pressure will always end up piling on one point at a certain time.”

Mupfurutsa says they will have to make a decision and it might anger some people although they haven’t made any yet.

“So, it’s a tough decision when it comes to the administrators when making this decision.

“Whatever decision that we make will not make everyone happy.

“But, as administrators, we have to make decisions and we will look at what is good for the club.

“We can’t tell you much at the moment about the decisions that the club will make but we always sit as a combined board.

“We always do our reviews as management, sometimes together with the coach and his technical team, and we have just come from the match on Sunday and we are yet to have our meeting

“We understand that things can work out or fail but, at the end of the day, whatever decision that we make as the Dynamos management, will be in the best interest of the club.”
