GREENFUEL coach Taurai Mangwiro believes the goalless draw with ZPC Kariba at the Green Arena yesterday was three points lost.
This became GreenFuel’s consecutive goalless draw after the FC Platinum game and this takes them to sixth position on the Premiership table with 10 points.
Mangwiro said: “We had great expectations and we are disappointed not to get three points. But we get a lot of encouragement from the fact that this is our second consecutive clean sheet, though not scoring goals is also a cause for concern.”
He said they did not apply themselves well.
“We didn’t create much chances in this game unlike in the game against FC Platinum. ZPC also didn’t create any, so we just cancelled each other, or we can say they shut us out.
“In the game against FC Platinum, we actually created five chances. So, when you do not create much chances, the chances of winning are also slim.”
For ZPC Kariba, it could be a point collected on the road after the long distance travelled to Chisumbanje.
Going into the game, ZPC Kariba registered a convincing 5-0 win over Kwekwe United, creating a good goal difference for themselves.
