Gunners bid accepted

LONDON. — Arsenal have had a bid accepted for French 19-year-old Adrien Rabiot. The Gunners have been chasing the youngster throughout the summer and, according to reports in France, the Parisian club have accepted their latest offer. Rabiot spent last season on loan at Toulouse and has three France under-21 caps but his current deal runs until next summer.

According to RMC the bid is around £5.5m but there is also thought to be interest in Italy with both Juventus and Roma keen, but Arsenal seem to have stolen a march and will begin discussions with the midfielder at the start of this week. — Metro
