Gunpoint heist : Four suspects steal US$ 99 063 in Ngundu robbery

Police in Masvingo are investigating a robbery that occurred at a money transfer outlet in Ngundu on Monday, in which four male suspects wielding pistols made off with US$99 063 in cash.

According to a statement posted on X, the four male suspects confronted the teller as he was leaving work, forcing him back to the outlet at gunpoint.

The suspects then compelled the teller to open the safe, gaining access to the large sum of cash.

The police in Masvingo have launched an investigation into the robbery and are urging anyone with information to report to their nearest police station.(Afrogazette)
