Guzah named new AAG boss

“I also wish to state that after examining all previous allegations against this previous executive, we found nothing wrong, and accordingly thank them for a job well done.”
He said the executive took great steps in promoting and enlightening “our citizenry in the diaspora about the opportunities available in Zimbabwe and also took the issue of the anti-Zimbabwe lobby head on”.
Mr Guzah is deputised by Mr Chamu Chiwanza (youth chairman) Ms Jennifer Mhlanga, Mr Sam Ncube, Ms Elizabeth Nyathi and Mr Tinayo Kangai, a member of the AAG youth council.
Mr Robson Masawi is the secretary general and is deputised by Mr Eddie Mboma Nyatanga with Mr Charles Nyachowe as the treasurer general.
The other members of the national executive are Mr Nhamo Tutisani, Mr Jimayo Muduvuri, Ms Mercy Mapiravana, Mr Ticharwa Madondo, Mr Vukani Mlambo, Mr Roy Sibanda, Mr Tamaye Dube, Mr Million Chinamasa, Mr Wellington Nkatazo, Ms Mabel Nkatazo and Ms Memory Nyakwima.
Regional chairpersons and members of the youth council were also announced.
Mutare-based businessman Mr Esau Mupfumi, who served as the Manicaland chairman, was elevated to founder member status. The same privilege is also enjoyed by Zanu-PF Politburo members Cdes Tendai Savanhu and Saviour Kasukuwere.
Mr Chiyangwa said he was disposing a number of his properties to start a youth fund to help them grow in business.
“I am going to unleash resources. We are talking of big money here,” he said.
AAG was formed in 1994 and has worked for black economic empowerment of Zimbabwe.
Mr Chiyangwa urged the new executive to understand that the organisation was aligned to Zanu-PF.
