A 34-YEAR-OLD Gwanda woman’s reckless drug game came crashing down after detectives caught her red-handed with a whopping 73 sachets of dagga — plus a cheeky extra three she had on her!
The Gwanda Magistrates’ Court dropped the hammer, slapping her with a 12-month jail sentence, though half was suspended. That means she’ll still be spending six solid months behind bars thinking about her choices.
On 27 March 2025 when sharp-eyed detectives, tipped off about her illegal stash, stormed her Blanket Mine Compound pad. Playing it cool, the suspect didn’t resist — instead, she voluntarily handed over the goods like a bad poker player folding early. The haul? 0,26kg of dagga, worth ZWG 2 600, now sitting in an evidence locker instead of on the streets.
