HIGHLANDERS have strengthened their squad for the second half of the season with the signing of left-back Ephany Gwavava, a player coach Benjani Mwaruwari has had on his radar for some time.

The Bulawayo giants announced Gwavava’s arrival on Thursday, welcoming him into the Bosso family as the club continues to shape its squad under the guidance of their former Warriors captain.

“Please join us in giving a warm welcome to the new member of the Bosso family, Ephany Gwavava,” Highlanders said in a brief statement.

Gwavava featured for Highlanders when they played the Zimbabwe national team in a friendly match earlier this year. The 26- year-old had some stints in Botswana.
