H-METRO was the leading daily newspaper, in terms of physical readership, when the 2021 second half data was compared with the 2022 first half data.
The physical readership of this tabloid increased by 14 percent.
It was followed by The Herald on 13 percent while Chronicle is on 11 percent.
Daily News and NewsDay had increases of five and three percent respectively.
In the past four weeks, H-Metro has increased by one percent on daily newspapers read.
The Chronicle leads with an increase of five percent while Herald is on four percent whereas NewsDay is on three percent increase and Daily News decreased by three percent.
According to this year’s first half ZAMPS, H-Metro emerged as the second leading daily newspaper, when it comes to readership, on the WhatApp platform.
The Daily News, with a readership percentage on WhatsApp of 19 percent, was narrowly above H-Metro, on 17 percent.
