H-Metro Reporter
THE H-Metro offices were transformed into a theatre of beauty queens yesterday after some of the most beautiful women in the country paid us a visit.
They were led by Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2026 Roseana Hall.
They also included the Miss World Zimbabwe and Miss InterContinental winners.
Lyshanda Moyas, who was Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025, was also part of the delegation.
The beauty queens came to prepare for their appearance on the H-Metro podcast today.
Roseana will get the chance to speak about her journey to the top.
While some critics questioned Roseanna’s victory due to her previous involvement with the pageant, as a judge in previous edition, what they failed to understand was that this year’s competition operated under a completely different framework and rules.
And, there was absolutely nothing preventing her from entering the contest.
Social media was immediately set ablaze following her crowning moment.
Contestants were evaluated throughout an intensive bootcamp process that tested far more than beauty.
Scores were accumulated through interviews, public speaking exercises, runway presentations, personal branding, advocacy projects and various challenges leading up to the grand finale.
By the time the contestants stepped onto the grand finale stage, judges already had a comprehensive understanding of each participant’s strengths, weaknesses, consistency and overall suitability to represent Zimbabwe internationally.
The final question-and-answer segments merely added to a much larger assessment process that had been taking place for days.
These are some of the issues that Roseanna will frankly talk about on the podcast.
Brunette Makanaka Makanyiso, 26, a pharmacist from Manyame Park, transformed herself into an instant heroine in Chitungwiza when she was crowned Miss World.
