PRESIDENT MNANGAGWA today met with United Arab Emirates (UAE) diplomat Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan at State House in Harare as Zimbabwe and the UAE move to deepen bilateral trade and investment cooperation.
The engagement comes as trade between the two countries has grown by 74 percent over the past two years, with bilateral trade now estimated at around US$7 billion.
The two countries are also seeking to diversify cooperation beyond minerals, with Zimbabwe targeting increased UAE investment in tourism, infrastructure and other key sectors, including Victoria Falls.
