WARRIORS star Teenage Hadebe is not a lonely man at Yeni Malatyaspor amid revelations that he spends more time with his fellow African teammates Moryke Fofana, Jody Lukoki and Youssouf Ndayishimiye.
Fofana hails from the Ivory Coast, Lukoki in DRC and Ndayishimiye was born in Burundi.
In an interview with Football Player World on Yeni Malatyaspor TV, Fofana said their friendship came into being courtesy of similar backgrounds.
“There is no such grouping in our team, everyone gets along very well, but the people I meet and spend more time with are Jody, Youssouf and Hadebe. We meet at meals, we are together all the time because my culture matches a little bit with theirs.”
The Ivorian added that Hadebe was the wittiest member of their squad as the Zimbabwean defender always tries to find a way to make people laugh.
“The most joking and mischievous of the team is Hadebe. Having fun and laughing is in his character,” he said.
The Makokoba-bred Warriors central defender has been making waves in Turkey producing man of the match performances time and again.
His remarkable journey started at Highlanders, Bantu Rovers and Chicken Inn before he headed to South Africa where he turned out for Kaizer Chiefs before settling in Turkey where is now one of the most sought after central defenders.
Last season, his Turkey club survived relegation by a technicality handing him a golden chance to once again prove his worth.
