ZIMBABWE Under-20 handball coach, Innocent Kanosvova, is pleased with the team’s preparations for the IHF Trophy Zone 6 competition.

The tournament will be staged at the Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex and City Sports Centre from October 17-23.

Kanosvova said they were not going to bank on the home advantage.

“Preparations are going according to the plan, although it was difficult to put everything in place.

“We will give our opponents a good fight.

“Sometimes, being the hosts comes with unnecessary pressure causing you to make costly mistakes.”

Added Kanosvova:

“I’m pleased with the level and quality of handball displayed by the boys.

“I have confidence that they can do well in the tournament and we are still fine-tuning some grey areas on and off the field.”

He indicated that their aim was to reach the final of the tournament.
