With the new season just a day away, Harare City have made their intentions of fighting for the league title their priority.
The City sponsored side, have signed strikers Malven Gaki and Pritchard Mphelele, to replace Ronald Chitiyo and Raphael Manuvire, who left for Caps United and ZPC Kariba respectively.
A source at the club said that the team want to fight for not only the league title but, also the Chibuku Super Cup and make sure that they play in Africa next season.
a?They know it wonat be easy this season, as they lost two of their influential players to other teams but, with the new signings they are looking at building a strong side, that can fight for honours this season. They have good intentions, of going all the way and win the league and then play in Africa next year.
Their main aim is to be up there, among the top teams like Caps, Dynamos, Platinum and Highlanders and that is why they have signed the two players. They know it wonat be easy but, they are preparing very well and I think they are ready for the new season.a? the source said.
