THE City of Harare is reviewing its draft master plan pending its submission to the Government.

In an interview after presentation of the draft Harare master plan at Golden Conifer on Wednesday, Harare Mayor Councillor Jacob Mafume said the master plan was done through consultation by their consultant.

“At the present moment, it covers a lot of areas; transport, energy, climate, accommodation, industry and the thrust and the development priorities that we are going to be engaged in for the period that it will be in existence,” he said.

“We are looking at making sure that we do the presentation to the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works.

“It is a document that will have the buy-in of management and the technical staff before we take it to the residents again for their input, corrections and validation”.
