finish the job on Sunday when they host Eiffel Flats at Dzivarasekwa in the last match of the season.
But the shadow of La Liga, who took their protest to Zifa against the decision by the Northern Region executive to pass judgment on a disciplinary matter and award points to Black Rhinos following their abandoned game, will loom large.
Harare City are on the verge of securing the Premiership ticket from Zifa Northern Region Division One and just need to win their last match.
Harare City have amassed 48 points while closest rivals Dstv have 47 points while Black Rhinos and Mwana Africa are tied on 46 points, setting the stage for a photo finish.
All the matches involving the title-chasing clubs and teams fighting relegation have been fixtured for Sunday and will kick off at the same time.
Yesterday the former Eagles midfielder, one of the experienced players in Harare City’s dressing room, said they were ready for the big task.
“It would be a tough game for us. Eiffel Flats did well against DStv and we know they can surprise us. But we have to fight up to the end and collect maximum points.
“We have been working hard and we need to convert the chances that will come our way,” said Nyamadzawo.
The attacking midfielder said he was aware of heartbreaks where teams have failed at the last hurdle in the past.
“It was not easy during the course of the season but we kept encouraging each other and our coach was always telling us not to lose heart when the results were not coming our way.
“I have also been encouraging players that it is possible to make it, having played in the Premiership before,” said Nyamadzawo.
Harare City coach Bigboy will be hoping for a Premiership ticket with a third team having won his first promotion with Circle United in 2000 while he also led Gunners in 2007.
When the season began the pundits never gave the council-owned club a chance.
But the former Dynamos midfielder is not celebrating yet.
Second-placed DStv entertain Best Academy at home hoping that the log leaders will drop points.
Nesbert “Yabo” Saruchera Black Rhinos have a tough match against Highfield United at One Commando.
Peter Sakonda’s Mwana Africa, also with 46 points, have a date against unpredictable Flame Lilly at ZRP Thomlison Depot.
