HARARE lawyer David Junior Munashe Donzvambeva has again been denied bail in a case in which he is accused of using forged documents in a scheme to defraud a company of a Borrowdale property valued at US$150 000.

Donzvambeva, of Jiti Law Chambers, appeared before Harare regional magistrate Mrs Jesse Kufa, who ruled that he should remain in custody.

The State alleges that Donzvambeva, together with three accomplices who are still at large, forged a title deed in the name of Grace Communications (Pvt) Ltd for Stand Number 163 Quinnington Road, Borrowdale.

It is further alleged that the accused used the purported title deed to facilitate subdivision of the property, dispose of one of the stands and institute eviction proceedings against the complainant.

The State says investigations established that no title deed had ever been issued for the property and that the complainant suffered actual prejudice of US$150 000.

The three alleged accomplices remain at large as investigations continue.
