Harare Metropolitan Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Charles Tavengwa has toured the Liberation City housing the Museum of African Liberation to appreciate the ongoing works at the venue.

Minister Tavengwa said the progress is pleasing as its completion will serve as another testament of the life-changing projects being embarked on under the Second Republic.

“This is the place which will capture all the history of Africa including how it united during the liberation struggles with the aid of nations such as Russia, Cuba and China,” he said.

“That information is all being gathered here but for some who are waiting for the completion of this project we appeal for them to be a bit patient until all the work is finalised. They will appreciate the splendid work being done by the Second Republic.”

Minister Tavengwa was accompanied by Permanent Secretary Cosmas Chiringa, Harare Mayor Jacob Mafume and service chiefs, among other officials.
