Sibanda, who broke his silence yesterday since the saga started, said he was inviting everybody including those that had a different opinion to join hands to develop soccer in the region.
“I believe that in line with the Fifa Fair Play Credo, football should be the winner in any contest and not individuals nor organisations. It is my belief that in this case football justice has been served.
“As Hardbody we forgive all those who had a different opinion and cordially invite them to join us in our quest towards building a strong Premiership outfit, Zifa Central Region and the soccer brand,” said Sibanda.
He said he wanted to pay tribute to the Zifa leadership, Hardbody supporters and Gweru football community for their role.
Sibanda also hailed the Appeals Committee for their decision to uphold his club’s status as the 2011 Central Region Soccer League champions.
The club has lined up a celebration party tomorrow.
The busmen however remained mum on the speculation that a mining giant with interests in the Midlands was eyeing their franchise.
The company is said to be eager to splash $1 million in the franchise and acquisition of players with player agents already laying an ambush.
The club begins preparations for the Premiership on Monday.
Tripple B official Nqobani Sithole was quoted by our sister paper saying his club will not rest until they get justice delivered.
“One thing very clear is that we are very sceptical of the judgment. The judgment is just scandalous to say the least and we have no kind words for the Appeals Committee. For us to have been hoping to get a judgment favourable to us was just being brave but this whole issue of the Appeals Committee is something else.
“How is it that one guy in the committee is a partner with (Ralph) Maganga, who is the Zifa lawyer? We are not going to take this lying down and just wait when we make our next move to take the matter further up,” said Sithole.
Hardbody were docked 42 points for using an improperly registered player Tendai Chingarah who did not have a reverse international clearance.
Meanwhile, Tavaka Gumbo, the Hardbody coach, added a feather to his coaching career by guiding the club to victory. He had a colourful career with Shushine and Hwange.
