One of Bulawayo’s successful events management team Harris Entertainment is eyeing to go national with their first gig out of Bulawayo, the Enzo Ishall album launch slated for 31 May in Harare at a venue yet to be announced.
Harris Entertainment — a branch under Harris Lodges Company — is famous for hosting the annual year-end Bulawayo Shutdown and the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) shutdown events.
With a career spanning over five years, the album titled Gadzira will be a first full length project for Enzo Ishall who previously dominated the game with singles such as Magate, Kanjiva, Smart Rinotangira Kutsoka, Raroorwa, Handirare KuDen Kwenyu, Siki, Tiza and Matsimba.
So far, a star-studded line-up has been unveiled as part of performers at the launch, including Kana Ndanyura hitmaker Killer Tee, Nisha T, Saintfloew, Chillspot Family, Freeman, and Master H.
The album has excited fans who feel it will be another important ingredient in Enzo Ishall’s transformative journey.
Enzo Ishall revealed that the album will highlight various aspects of his creativity, signalling a departure from his usual style as he also promised fans a richer and more diverse musical experience.
“This album is not just about dancehall; it’s about showing people different sides of me as an artiste. I want to explore new sounds and give my fans something fresh.
“My debut album marks a new chapter in my career as I transition from releasing singles to producing a comprehensive body of work,” said Enzo Ishall.
Jordan Dube who is part of Harris Entertainment revealed that they will be the sole organisers of Enzo Ishall’s album launch bash and they are looking forward to hosting a well-orchestrated gig which is their first out of the comfort zones of Bulawayo.
“I think for the past years we have been dominant in the Bulawayo showbiz industry and our events speak volumes of the success we have achieved. This year we are looking forward to growing and we are spreading our wings as we will stage a number of shows out of Bulawayo.
“We are the organisers of Enzo Ishall’s album launch gig slated for May in Harare and we are excited to be associated with a huge brand such as Enzo Ishall. He commands a huge following and is a popular culture star who has influenced youths in Zimbabwe. We are set to host this life-changing gig which will pave the way for us to also run other shows around the country,” said Dube.
Enzo Ishall has performed at various events hosted by Harris Entertainment with the last one being the end-of-year shutdown which was held last year on 27 December at ZITF.
