Have the faith of Abraham

Pauline Matanda

GENESIS 17:5 reads: “I have made you the father of many nations.” Abraham is our father, in the presence of God, whom he believed in. He is the God who makes the dead alive. Abraham believed and so became the father of many nations, according to the pronouncement, “so will your descendants be”. — Romans 4:17-18

Change the way you see yourself. God is making you great. Your destiny in Christ is already great.

Where you are now is not where you are going to be tomorrow.

God is able to make something out of nothing; somebody out of nobody.

Trust the process.

Trust that God’s grace is able to build you and give you an inheritance among the saints.

Look at Abraham, an idol worshipper. He was asked by God to move out of Ur of the Chaldeans. He was then made a father of many nations and a friend of God.

This was all because he dared to walk by faith. We call him the father of faith.

You, too, can believe like Abraham and please God, as Hebrews 11:6 says: “For without faith you cannot please God”.

Abraham believed even when the situation on the ground was contrary. According to Romans 4:18, “Against hope Abraham believed in hope”.
