The Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe (HAZ) will this year embark on a “best practice mission” to the United Arab Emirates, in a move aimed at restoring the country’s reputation as a top travel destination.

HAZ president Mr Innocent Manyera said the November trip is a follow up to the visit by Tourism and Hospitality Industry Minister Prisca Mupfumira to the Arabian Travel Market in May.

He said they will be visiting Dubai which is a leading destination in terms of international tourism facilities.

“The aim of the trip is to expose captains of the hospitality and tourism to the latest trends of providing current international standards and service which guarantees total guest satisfaction and profitability,” Mr Manyera said. He told players in the hospitality sector that the business trip would position their services on an international pedestal.

“We have an exciting planned itinerary to meet various investors,” he said.
