A HEAVY Fuel employee appeared in court yesterday charged with unlawful entry.

Phidel Mukuchira (26) was denied bail when he appeared before Harare magistrate, Yeukai Dzuda.

He will be back in court tomorrow for his bail hearing.

Allegations are that sometime this month, Mukuchira got access to the company’s workshop keys at Tynwald South Industries, and stole 11 gas tanks.

He handed the gas tanks to his accomplice, who was waiting with a getaway car, to transport the loot.

The accomplice is still at large.

Out of the 11 gas tanks stolen, only three were recovered.

Mukuchira was represented by Godfrey Mapaya.

His case was deferred to July 29.
