Her snake drove me out, man tell court

A HARARE man yesterday told the court that he deserted his matrimonial home because he was being chased out of their bedroom by his wife’s evil snake. Denford Mabvirakure revealed this at the Harare Civil Courts where he was dragged by his wife Prisca Chimwanza who was applying for the custody of their two children.Mabvirakure told the court that his wife’s evil spirits had ruined his life.

“My life has been ruined by this woman’s evil spirits, I lived a good life in Chisipite before I married her but now I am living in Calidonia. Your Worship please help me because I cannot send my children to that haunted house because I will be putting their lives in danger,” he said.

Mabvirakure said he had to sleep in their children’s bedroom every night because he was always being chased by a big snake which belonged to his wife.
“Your Worship this woman is possessed with evil spirits, I was no longer sleeping in my bedroom because each time we slept together I was being chased out by a big snake which wanted to kill me.”

Magistrate Tafadzwa Muvhami postponed the matter to March 6 to allow Mabvirakure to file his opposing papers.
