Tenax……………..(1) 1

HERENTALS came from behind to secure a comfortable win over visitors Tenax at the National Sports Stadium yesterday,

Tenax went to the break leading 1-0.

But, the Students came back a transformed side to score three times, in the last 45 minutes.

Brighton and Archmore Majarira, and John Zhuwawu were on target for Herentals, while Malvin Dumbura scored the only goal for Tenax.

Herentals coach, Kumbirai Mutiwekuziva, described his side as invincible after yesterday’s show.

“I blame complacency for the slow start.

“Tenax did well, particularly in counter-attacks, and got their goal from a set-piece.

“But, it was a wake-up call for my team and they did very well in the second half.

“They came back with the intention to win and they easily did that in the second half,” said Mutiwekuziva. He said his boys read the situation well and responded in the best way possible.

“I need them to improve how they start and end matches, but I am happy with today’s performance.”

Tenax coach, Shadreck Mugurasawe, said he was disappointed by the team’s second half performance.
