“This is my first time in Africa and I am happy that the first school that I have taught these dances is Heritage School which has given me a reason to stay in the country for more lessons,” said Crean.

Crean, who is also an artist and a designer in her own right, also designed the costumes that were used by the students during the dinner dance.

“This is my first time to perform the ballroom dance and I really enjoyed myself and I would like to thank Mrs Crean for introducing such type of dances at our school,” said Musekiwa.

Crean also said it was her wish to make this an annual event at the school and spread this initiative to other schools.
“I would like to urge all students that participated here to take dancing seriously and continue practising so that they can be professional dancers in the future and eke a living out of it,” said Crean in her closing speech.
